Hi Everyone

Just a quick hello to everyone, I wont be online and writing much this week. I hope I can get a minute to do a featured shop or 2 tho. My daddy had gall bladder surgery yesterday and they kept him overnight because of his age. Hes 85 and came thru with flying colors and we brought him home today. He is doing great and was so happy to get home to see his cats lol. He has very little pain and after a few days of taking it easy his doctors says he should be back as good as before.

Thanks to everyone that said a prayer for him and I will be back as soon as I can

An Interesting shop I found

Another Featured Shop

Here I go featuring another shop, I dont remember if I found this shop on my Santa's Helper thread of just stumbled upon it somewhere else. But I fell in love with her Violet Fields earrings and I hope one day I can get them lol. KvellCreations.etsy.com In her favorite materials she lists

Swarovski crystal,sterling silver,anything bright and shiney. I will say that sums it up really well. She has beautiful earrings and bracelets. Check out her shop and maybe find a great gift for someone.

Hope

Everyday things just keep getting harder. The economy is terrible, everywhere people are losing their jobs, thier homes and some even their lives. As I struggle along I cling to the hope that things will get better and I wont lose my home, I already lost my job. Luckily my hubby still has his. I hope that even as bad as things are there will be good things to see and share every day and I say my prayers every night in hope they will be heard.

Please say a prayer tonight for everyone in need, and say a prayer for my daddy who faces surgery next week.

Helping if I can

So far I have managed to survive on etsy for 9 months. Most have been really lean months and I hope the holidays will help my shop out. I have a grand total of 50 sales and I struggle to get each new sale. I am by no means a success but I hope I can try to help other etsians if I can. I would like to feature shops just starting out or shops that have been there awhile but not making many sales. These are hard times and we all can use some help. If you know of some struggling shops, let me know and I will try to feature them. I can't buy from many people, but maybe I can help someone else get a few sales.

Lost on Etsy

I crash landed on the Island of Etsy 10 month ago with nothing but my jewelry to sustain me. After the initial fear and shock wore off I set about creating my way of survival on this island. There were others here, I knew I had to make friends with them if i was to survive. I set up my shop and set about looking for ways to carry on until I finally am rescued and can say I survived. I entered the jungle known as the forums.
When I entered the forum jungle I had no idea what awaited me. Every where there were shops set among the trees and foliage of this jungle, each selling something different. Many had fabric items for sale, there were ceramics,there were wooden items, A vast array of beautiful things cause my eye. Then I became aware that there seemed to be alot of jewelry in this jungle. The more I advanced, the more I saw, the more I saw the more afraid I became. How was I to survive in this bright sparkling place.
